Manu Ashokan, director of Uyare, has announced that Aishwarya Lekshmi and Tovino Thomas will star in his next film- Kaane Kaane, being scripted by the Bobby-Sanjay duo, who also scripted Uyare.
Aishwarya Lekshmi and Tovino Thomas were last seen together in director Aashiq Abu’s ‘Mayaanadhi’. Kaane Kaane will also star Suraj Venjaramoodu, Prem Prakash, Shruti Ramachandran and Rony David Raj.
The official poster was released on Saturday. The poster looks grim and features a blood-soaked cloth lying on the ground with the tagline ‘as you watch’. The film is expected to go on the floors soon.
Kaane Kaane will be bankrolled under the DreamKatcher banner, produced by T R Shamsudheen. Music for the film will be composed by Ranjin Rajj, who also composed music for Malayalam film Joseph.
According to the director, the script was finalised during the nationwide Covid-19 related lockdown. From being a discussion during a conference call, the entire script has been completed today, he said.

In Uyare, that released in 2019, Parvathy played the role of Pallavi Raveendran, an aspiring pilot and acid attack survivor.
