Ajay Gnanamuthu, who made a promising directorial debut with the horror flick Demonte Colony last year, will be directing actor Atharvaa Murali in his next, which is touted to be a romantic thriller.

Atharvaa’s previous films, Eeti and Kanithan, saw a pretty good run at the theatres. Currently, he is busy with his maiden production venture Semma Botha Aagatha, directed by Badri Venkatesh, who directed his debut film Baana Kaathadi (2010). Ajay’s film is expected to begin after this project, during mid July.
Atharvaa’s Rukkumani Vandi Varudhu, directed by Rajamohan, is in its post production stage. He is also a part of Bala’s multi starrer film, an adaptation of the Kuttraparambarai novel, scheduled to begin in January 2017.
