Akhil Akkineni and Ram Charan, sons of celebrated Telugu actors Nagarjuna and Chiranjeevi, are heading for a box-office battle this Dussehra with releases within one week of each other. Ram Charan’s untitled film with Srinu Vaitla will release on October 15, and Akhil’s debut film, produced by Nithiin Reddy and directed by VV Vinayak, will release the subsequent week on October 21. According to sources, pre-release business for Akhil’s film has already brought in Rs.40 crore, while pre-release business for Ram Charan’s film has brought in Rs.60 crore.
