Meanwhile, the duo’s romantic drama Atrangi Re will most likely commence with shoot in October if the lockdown is lifted. Co-starring Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan, the film commenced shoot in March and had to stall work owing to the nationwide lockdown. The team has now planned a three-month schedule commencing in October in Madurai followed by schedules in Delhi and Mumbai.
While Sara and Dhanush shoot in Madurai, Akshay Kumar will join the sets in Delhi and Mumbai for about a month. Aanand reportedly plans to wrap up the shoot by the end of the year if things go according to plan.
