Actress Alia Bhatt suffered a shoulder injury in Coonoor while shooting for Shakun Batra’s Kapoor and Sons. She was rushed to a hospital in Coimbatore for medical aid.
The bubbly actress posted a picture of her left hand in a sling and wrote, “There goes my celebration!” In a post that followed, she added, “Shoulder injury at an early stage.. No stress I shall be fit and fine in 2 weeks!!! Time to become a lefty (sic).”

The 22-year-old actress’ fans flooded Twitter with ‘Get Well Soon’ messages and the actress’ mother Soni Rizdan wrote this on Twitter:
