Actress Amala Paul has joined Vishnu Vishal in the lead cast of a new crime thriller, directed by Mundasuppati director Ram Kumar.

Provisionally titled ‘Ratchasan’, the film revolves around a mystery and will feature a newcomer as the antagonist. Vishnu plays a police officer in the film. The film will go on floors on November 29 in Chennai. It will be produced by Urumeen producers Axess Film Factory. Axess is currently producing Maragadha Naanayam, which stars Aadhi and Nikki Galrani.
Ghibran will compose the music for this film.
Amala Paul, who recently turned 25, has signed thee other Tamil projects – Vada Chennai opposite Dhanush, Thiruttupayale 2 and Velaiyilla Pattadhari 2.. She will also make her Kannada debut with Hebbuli, which has Sudeep in the lead cast. Additionally, she is acting in the Kannada remake of Velayilla Pattadhari.
The actress has said that she will soon announce a few more Malayalam and Telugu films.
