Amitabh Bachchan is in talks to play a pivotal role in Chiranjeevi’s next. The actor has reportedly agreed verbally, but is yet to sign on the dotted line.

A spokesperson for the film has confirmed with Silverscreen that the project is a biopic on the life and times of Telugu freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. Chiranjeevi plays the lead role, while actress Vijayasanthi has also been roped in for a cameo, according to reports.
The film is produced by Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan, who budgeted Rs 125 crores for the project.
Earlier, Bachchan had been rumoured to have a guest appearance in Chiranjeevi’s 150th film. Due to scheduling conflicts, the actor bowed out of the project.
