Director-actor Lakshmy Ramakrishnan’s third directorial venture Ammani is nearing completion with just one song left to be shot. The director, on Facebook, announced the news and added that the song will be shot after she returns from a much-needed vacation.

She, along with actress Subbulakshmi, play the lead roles in Ammani. Lakshmy will be seen as a 57-year-old woman and Subbulakshmi will play the role of a 80-year-old women. Earlier, the actress stated that Ammani has been inspired from a story titled Solvathellam Unmai.
Produced by Ven Govinda under Tag Entertainment, Ammini has music scored by composer K. Recently, K had roped in the famous Gulab Gang for a song in the movie. The release date of the movie Ammani is expected to be announced soon.
