Director Vamshi Paidipally released the first look poster of the upcoming Telugu film Anaganaga O Athidhi on Wednesday. The film will premiere on the OTT platform Aha Video on November 13.
The film stars Chaitanya Krishna, Paayal Rajput and Veena Sundar in lead roles. While the film marks the digital debut of Rajput, who featured in RX 100, it will be Kannada actor Veena’s debut in the Telugu film industry.
The actor and the streaming platform also released the first look poster on Twitter after the live launch on Facebook.

The first look poster shows Chaitanya holding Rajput at knifepoint. Expected to be an emotional crime thriller drama, the film is set in the backdrop of a rural setup. Chaitanya will be playing athidhi (guest in Telugu) and the rest of the story is about what happens after he visits Rajput’s family.
While speaking at a virtual press conference, director of the film Dayal Padmanabhan said that the plot revolves around a crime with multiple suspects, one criminal and a justification of the crime. Dayal termed the last 20 minutes of the film as “very crucial” and added that the final sequences were expected to elevate the drama quotient.
Talking about the characters, Paidipally said: “The biggest surprise for me was Paayal because of the whole makeover that she went through for the film. For every artist, there is a kind of thing like to explore themselves, new ways and new kinds of things.”
“The character was absolutely natural without any makeup. With this kind of content, I am going to break the stereotype I am carrying and set a new benchmark,” Rajput said.
The film marks Dayal’s directorial debut in Telugu films. He has directed over 18 films in Kannada. His last directorial venture was Aa Karaala Ratri (2018), a Kannada suspense thriller film that was nominated for the SIIMA Awards for Best Direction.
