Actress Anandhi is in talks for a role in the Telugu remake of Vedalam. If she joins the cast, she will play the hero Ganesh’s sister Thamizh, originally played by Lakshmi Menon. Pawan Kalyan plays Ganesh, originally played by Ajith.

Anandhi’s mother told Silverscreen that Anandhi is considering the offer “It is true that we’ve received offer from the Vedalam remake team. But, it is too early to say anything about it.”
The project was launched earlier this year and will be directed by RT Neason (Jilla) and produced by AM Ratnam. Talks with actress Nayanthara to play the female lead are ongoing. Kajal Aggarwal is also in the running for the role, according to reports.
