Singer/actress Andrea Jeremiah will be seen in a special number in the upcoming Vishal starrer, Poojai. If you haven’t got it already, we aren’t great fans of the terms “item girl” and “item number” – so à la Malaika Arora Khan, we go with “special” (for want of a better word, obviously). “It is a folk routine, besides being Vishal’s introduction song,” revealed a source close to Vishal Film Factory, adding, “we thought of roping in someone different this time. That’s how Andrea came into picture.” With Yuvan Shankar Raja composing music; and lyrics by Na Muthukumar, the song, we are told, will be shot in a market-like setting in Chennai.
Meanwhile, the actress has quite a few movies lined up. There’s Ram’s (Thanga Meengal fame) Taramani, which is about the life of an IT professional, besides Vishwaroopam II, Aranmanai and Uttama Villain.
