Saaho is one of the most-awaited action films of the year. It has been made on a budget of Rs 300 crore, costlier than Prabhas-starrer Baahubali, and has reportedly recovered Rs 260 crore in pre-release sales.
The film is jointly produced by UV Creations and T-series, and is written and directed by Sujeeth. Arun Vijay, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mandira Bedi, Jackie Shroff and Lal star in important roles. The action scenes are choreographed by Kenny Bates, and were mostly shot live. Promos of these sequences released earlier this year.
The background score for the film is by Ghibran, cinematography by R Madhi and editing by Sreekar Prasad. The film is scheduled to release in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil on August 15, and will also open in Japan where Prabhas has a huge fan-following.
