Known as quite a power couple, often indulging in saccharine sweet PDAs and funny social media posts, Chris Pratt and Anna Faris announced their separation on Monday. The news of their separation broke out after Faris took to Instagram to announce their separation in a joint statement.
The statement said that they “tried hard for a long time”, but are really disappointed now. There is no animosity between them though, implying that theirs is an amicable one. No hard feelings whatsoever, after eight years of togetherness.
After meeting on the sets of their film Take Me Home Tonight in 2007, the couple dated, fell in love, and got married in 2009. One can never forget tweets and messages they would leave for each other on social media, with everybody regarding them as ‘couple goals’. They’ve even had multiple Buzzfeed listicles chronicling their cutesy romance.
