Actress Anu Emmanuel, who is currently shooting her Tamil debut Thupparivaalan, has been roped in to play the second female lead in Pawan Kalyan’s next film, to be directed by Trivikram Srinivas.

The film was launched on the 5th of November in Hyderabad. The film will be produced by Suryadevara Radhakrishna of Haarika and Haasine Creations, a regular collaborator of Trivikram. The film might be titled Devdude Digi Vachina. Keerthy Suresh will play the heroine in this film.

Anu Emmanuel is the daughter of Malayalam film producer Thankachan Emmanuel. Her first film as a lead actress was in Nivin Pauly’s Action Hero Biju, which released early this year. She also acted in the Telugu film Majnu opposite Nani, which released in September. She is also currently working on two other Telugu films – Oxygen, with Gopichand, and Beware of Kittu opposite Raj Tarun. She replaced Rakulpreet Singh as the female lead in Mysskin’s Thupparivalan, with Vishal as the male lead.
