Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have been served a legal notice by Arrhan Singh. He was the target of ridicule and threats on social media after Sharma uploaded a video in which she schooled him for throwing garbage on the road.
“Hi. My legal advisors have sent a notice to Mr Virat Kohli and Mrs Anushka Sharma Kohli. As the ball is in their court, no comments now. As in all fairness I should await their response,” Arhan said.
The infamous video featured Anushka scolding Arhhan for littering the street and saying, “Why are you throwing garbage on the road? Don’t throw garbage on the road. Please be careful.”
Saw these people throwing garbage on the road & pulled them up rightfully. Travelling in a luxury car and brains gone for a toss. These people will keep our country clean? Yeah right! If you see something wrong happening like this, do the same & spread awareness. @AnushkaSharma pic.twitter.com/p8flrmcnba

The video, which had over a million views, received mixed reactions. While a few people applauded the actress for schooling the boy, a few others called it a publicity stunt.
Congress party leader Sanjay Jha took to Twitter and questioned Virat and Anushka about their opinion on the issue.
“Celebrities don’t need to promote themselves when supposedly attempting a good thing. How much publicity do you want, guys?” Jha tweeted.
