Anushka Shetty is reportedly not a part of Prabhas’s next film – Saaho. Rumours were rife that the actress would be paired with her Baahubali co-star again. However, a Deccan Chronicle report suggests that Anushka will not be a part of the project owing to not having enough free dates.
A source has told DC that since she was asked to join the project two months in advance, she wasn’t able to come on board because of other projects in the pipeline. She will also be seen in a Tamil project soon, and was worried that the films’ shooting dates might clash.

Last month, news of Anushka being approached to play the female lead did the rounds. While Katrina Kaif and Shraddha Kapoor were considered for the role, the filmmakers had zeroed in on Anushka Shetty.
Saaho is a Telugu-Tamil-Hindi trilingual, and is billed as a high-budget, stylish action film. Produced by UV Entertainment, the film will be directed by Sujeeth. Neil Nitin Mukesh would also join the cast of Saaho, and likely play the antagonist. Other cast and crew details are being finalised and will be announced soon.
