Anushka Shetty’s first look in multilingual Nishabdam / Silence co-starring actor R Madhavan is out now. The poster features Anushka sitting by a water body with a canvas and art supplies. She is set to play the role of a mute artist named Sakshi. The lead pair will be seen together for the second time after their 2006 Tamil action-comedy flick Rendu.

Directed by Hemanth Madhukar, the cast includes Anjali, Shalini Pandey, Subbaraju, Srinivas Avasarala, and Kill Bill fame Michael Madsen. Kona Film Corporation and People Media Factory are jointly bankrolling the thriller. While Gopi Sunder has composed the music and Shaneil Deo has done the cinematography, technicians from the Hollywood industry are also on board. Nishabdam has been shot extensively in Seattle, USA and is now in its post-production phase. The film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi, and English.
Recently, the team released the motion teaser of Nishabdam, marking Anushka’s 14 years in the industry.
Meanwhile, Anushka Shetty has done a cameo in the trilingual Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy starring Chiranjeevi which is set to release in October. Madhavan, on the other hand, is busy with his directorial debut Rocketry: The Nambi Effect.
