Speaking about his career in film and his role in Nibunan, Arjun said, “It has been a very enjoyable journey. I have loved every part of it and overcome all the odds. Although I have done several cop stories, Nibunan will stand out for the sheer brilliance in screenplay. It is definitely not a run-of-the-mill cop thriller. It is told in a totally different dimension. I play a DSP in the crime branch. My character is very intelligent and strong but with his own weakness just like any other human being. How he balances his family and professional life is told in a very relatable manner.”

Nibunan, directed by Achchamundu Achchamundu fame Arun Vaidyanathan, also stars Prasanna, Shruthi Hariharan, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, and others.

Talking about the crew and his co-stars, Arjun said, “It was lovely to work with director Arun Vaidhyanathan. He is such a perfectionist that he does his homework so well and comes fully prepared to the sets daily. The whole team have given it their all and the movie has come out fantastically well. I am sure the audience will love the film. My co-stars in this film, Prasanna, Varalakshmi, Shruthi Hariharan and Vaibhav, were phenomenal in their respective roles. After all, successful films are made out of teamwork, and here we are at the doorstep of a successful release.”

The audio launch of Nibunan took place yesterday in Chennai. Take a look at our gallery.
