Arms Case: Verdict on Jan 18, Salman Khan Asked To Appear Before Court

A court in Jodhpur has fixed the dates for the final verdict in the Arms Act Case against Bollywood actor Salman Khan. The court of chief judicial magistrate fixed the final date after hearing the arguments from both the parties on Monday. Magistrate Dalpat Singh Rajpurohit has asked the actor to be present for the final hearing. 

The final arguments on the case began on 19th December 2016. The case was filed by the forest department against the Sultan actor for the use and possession of arms with an expired license. A case against the actor was registered under the Arms Act by the police in October 1998. He is said to have poached two endangered blackbucks in Kankani village. 

If convicted, Salman Khan could face an imprisonment of up to seven years.
