Arya officially announced today that he will be collaborating with director Pa Ranjith for a boxing film. The announcement came through a tweet from the actor where is he found exercising, and he is ripped. The film is reportedly the 30th film of the actor.
Arya said, “My love for sports coming alive on screen. All set to face the boxers in the ring… It’s the most challenging film of my career. Loving the experience. #Ranjith sir is just phenomenal.”

Going by the tweet, Santhosh Narayanan will be composing music for the film bankrolled by K9 Studioz with Anbariv handling stunts. Actors Kalaiyarasan and Santhosh Prathap are also reportedly a part of the film. It is noteworthy that Santhosh Prathap played the role of a boxer in the recent rom-com Oh My Kadavule.
The actor is believed to have been training endlessly. He took to Twitter yesterday to share a picture of his physique and had love pouring in from the Kollywood industry.

Meanwhile, the actor who was last seen in KV Anand‘s Kaappaan will next feature in Shakthi Soundar Rajan’s Teddy which is currently in the post-production stage. The song ‘En Iniya Thanimaye’ rendered by Sid Sriram in the lyrics of Madhan Karky in D Imman‘s composition is doing the rounds on social media. The lyrical video of the song has garnered over one million views.
