Arya and Sayyeshaa tied the knot in Hyderabad over the course of the weekend. The two, who starred together in last year’s Ghajinikanth, had announced their wedding plans on Valentine’s Day.

The two got married according to Muslim customs.
The wedding was attended by several actors celebrities including Suriya, Karthi, Allu Arjun and producer Dhananjayan.

Both Allu Arjun and Arya starred in the 2010 film Varudu.

Arya recently shot for Suriya’s Kaappaan. Originally scheduled to release on October 19, the movie will see Suriya playing a bodyguard to Arya and his Prime Minister father played by Mohanlal. Sayyeshaa is also part of the movie.

The two had previously starred together in Bala’s Avan Ivan.
The wedding was preceded by a pre-wedding bash that was attended by celebrities such as Sanjay Dutt and Saira Banu.
The 21-year-old actress Sayyeshaa is a grandniece of veteran actor Dilip Kumar and actress Saira Banu. She made her acting debut in Bollywood through Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay. Moving onto South India films, she made her Tamil debut with Jayam Ravi’s Vanamagan. The actress, who is popular for her dance moves in social media, was last seen in Kadaikutty Singam which turned out to be a superhit family entertainer.
Earlier in 2018, 38-year-old Arya participated in the TV show Enga Veetu Mappilai, in which he was to find a suitable bride. The show ended with Arya choosing none.
