Asha Sharath will reprise her role in the Tamil remake of Drishyam. The news was confirmed by director Jeetu Joseph today. Not only did she garner critical appreciation for the tough-as-nails IPS officer, the actress played the role in the Kannada remake as well.
Asha started her career in television post marriage and kids. A trained Bharathnatyam dancer, she gained instant popularity playing the lead in a daily soap. Since then, she has successfully managed to play author-backed roles in TV and films. She has shared screen space with all the leading heroes in Malayalam and is currently doing a film with Mammootty.
