Aswathy Gopalakrishnan, Features Editor at Silverscreen, has been selected for the Young Film Critics Program at the International Film Festival Rotterdam. The talent development programme gives young film critics under the age of 30, a rare opportunity to interact with experienced critics in the field, and inside access to the festival itself.

The festival begins on January 25, and will continue till February 5th. This year, it will showcase films such as Lemon, the Japanese film Fake, Natalie Portman-starrer Jackie and Paterson in what is its 46th edition.
Aswathy has been a film critic with Silverscreen since 2015, and has chronicled the many ways Indian cinema has evolved, with a special focus on how it portrays its women, Dalits, and minorities.
