SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus, Baahubali has set the cash registers ringing, and continues to run to packed houses. According to a source, following the success of the first part in the franchise, Baahubali: The Conclusion is apparently sold to a studio for Rs 325 crore. “A Bombay-based studio has acquired the worldwide release of the second part of Baahubali for Rs 325 crore. The makers are yet to announce it officially as the paper work is still pending,” the source told Silverscreen. As of Tuesday, Baahubali has grossed Rs 215 crore worldwide. It’s turning out to be the biggest grossing south Indian film. Starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannah Bhatia, the movie will soon have an international release.
