Music director turned actor GV Prakash’s upcoming action-thriller, Baasha Engira Antony, has been re-titled Bruce Lee. The actor will play a character named Bruce Lee. The team is currently finalizing the remaining cast and crew and shooting will begin sometime in October.

Earlier, the team had unsuccessfully attempted to obtain permission from the makers of Baasha to use the title. There have been speculations about a possible sequel to Baasha, which may have been the reason behind the refusal.
Bruce Lee will be directed by Prashanth, a former associate of director Pandiraj, and produced by Kenanya Films. The director says he is happy that the former title had created high expectation, and hopes to keep the momentum going throughout the film’s progress. The first look posters bearing the new title were released yesterday.
