Excel Entertainment head Ritesh Sidhwani’s comic satire Bangistan, starring Riteish Deshmukh and Pulkit Samrat, has been banned in Pakistan and United Arab Emirates (UAE). The film hits the theatres on Friday.

Directed by debut director Karan Anshuman, the film is about two suicide bombers, Hafeez Bin Ali Ishwarchand Sharma and Allah Rakha Khan Praveen Chaturvedi, who are assigned an explosive mission. The film was shot extensively in Poland and Ladakh.
