Actor Bobby Simha, whose last film was Chennai Ungalai Anbudan Varaverkiradhu, will play the lead in Veera, an action comedy drama. Produced by Eldred Kumar of RS Infotainment, the film will be directed by newcomer K Rajaraman. Veera also features actress Iswarya Menon as the heroine and actor Bala Saravanan as Bobby Simha’s sidekick. The screenplay has been written by Bakkiyam Sankar.
The filmmakers have clarified that the title ‘Veera’ was not a conscious reference to actor Rajinikanth.
Bobby Simha currently has several films in various stages of production, including Masala Padam, Urumeen, the Bangalore Days remake, Paambhu Sattai, Iraivi. Kavalai Vendam and Ko 2. Veera marks the third partnership between Bobby Simha and Elred Kumar, after Kavalai Vendam and Ko 2.
