Anurag Kashyap has been juggling a lot of roles lately – producer, director, writer, actor and it’s not limited to Bollywood films, he is taking up projects down south as well.
Director Ajay Gnanamuthu has cast Kashyap as the antagonist for the upcoming film Imaikkaa Nodigal, starring to Nayanthara and Atharvaa. The director said his initial choice for the role was Gautham Vasudeva Menon, but it later went to Kashyap.

Kashyap, in the past, has worked with Mani Ratnam, Rajeev Ravi, Bejoy Nambiar and Santhosh Sivan.
Apart from Imaikkaa Nodigal, he’s also co-writing Hindi dialogues for the Malayalam-Hindi bilingual film Moothon. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film chronicles the life of a man from Lakshadweep in search of his long-lost brother. Geetu Mohandas, wife of Rajeev Ravi who is handling the camera for Moothon.
Kashyap has last directed the movie Mukkabaaz with Vineeth Kumar Singh in the lead role.
