Director Boyapati Sreenu will join hands with Mahesh Babu for a movie in the near future. He made the announcement during an interview. The director also said that a film with Chiranjeevi too was on the cards. However, that would come only after his film with Mahesh Babu, as per a report.
Srinu is now getting ready for his new movie with Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead.
Srinu was promoting his movie Vineya Vidheya Rama. Starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani in the lead, the movie is an action film with Vivek Oberoi playing the antagonist. The movie released this Friday. Produced by DVV Danayya, music for the film has been composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
Meanwhile, reports had emerged about Mahesh Babu working with Baahubali director S.S.Rajamouli. Expected to start in 2020, the project will mark the actor’s debut in Hindi.
Reports began doing the rounds from as early as October 2017 that the Baahubali director would helm a project featuring Mahesh Babu in the lead. Back then, the movie was supposed to begin by December this year or January next year.

Mahesh Babu is currently shooting for Vamsi Padiapally’s Maharshi. Starring Pooja Hegde in the female lead, Maharshi is jointly produced by C. Ashwini Dutt, Dil Raju and Prasad V. Potluri, under the banners of Vyjayanthi Movies, Sri Venkateswara Creations and PVP Cinema. The movie is planned for an April 2019 release.
The star will then move on to the yet-to-be titled film that will be directed by Sukumar. Only following the completion of these two projects can the actor begin work on Rajamouli’s film. The Rajamouli-Mahesh Babu film will be produced by KL Narayana under the banner of Sri Durga Arts. The cast and crew for the movie have not yet been divulged.
