Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio In Quentin Tarantino’s ‘Once Upon A Time In Hollywood’

Brad Pitt has officially joined Leonardo DiCaprio in Quentin Tarantino’s film Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, which will focus on the Charles Manson Case. According to Deadline, Pitt and DiCaprio are all set to play Cliff Booth and Rick Dalton, former neighbours of Sharon Tate, the actress was pregnant at the time of her murder by the Manson family.

“I’ve been working on this script for five years, as well as living in Los Angeles county most of my life, including in 1969, when I was seven years old. I’m very excited to tell this story of an LA and a Hollywood that doesn’t exist anymore. And I couldn’t be more excited about the dynamic teaming of DiCaprio and Pitt as Rick and Cliff,” Tarantino said in a statement.

The director has also reportedly approached Margot Robbie for the role of Tate, who was murdered in 1969. The film is slated for an August release next year.

Charles Manson was an American criminal and cult leader who, in the late 1960s, formed what became to be known as the Manson Family, a quasi-commune in California. Manson’s followers committed a series of nine murders at four locations between July and August 1969. Tate was among five people who were slain by Manson family cult members at the home she shared with director Roman Polanski.
