Director Sarkunam’s Chandi Veeran was cleared for a U certificate by the Censor Board yesterday. The movie’s publicist confirmed that Chandi Veeran is gearing up for an August release, and an official announcement is expected shortly. According to sources, the movie might release on August 7.
Chandi Veeran features actor Atharvaa as a sickle-and-spear wielding rough villager. The film also stars Kayal Anandhi, and is likely to be an action-packed drama. Produced by director Bala’s B Studios, the film has on board cinematographer PG Muthaiah, and will be distributed by Sri Green productions.
