The film has garnered a lot of interest since its title was announced on Monday by actor Suriya. Reports said that this is an anthology. However, a source from the team told Silverscreen that the film tells a single story with six portions, and every portion will have a different crew and technicians. “Unfortunately, we can’t reveal more details until the first look is out. But further announcements will be made in the next four days,” the source said.
According to In.com, the multi-starrer is likley to feature actors Harish Kalyan, Aravind Akash, Premgi Amaren, Mirchi Shiva, Jai, Janani Iyer, Vijayalakshmi and Venkat Prabhu in important roles. Shooting for the film is expected to begin from the end of July.
Director Chimbu Deven also said in a statement earlier that the movie will be produced by Venkat Prabhu’s Black Ticket company, in association with Trident Arts’ R Ravindran.

This is Venkat Prabhu’s third production after the 2016 sequel Chennai 600028 II: Second Innings, starring Jai, Shiva, Premigi and others, and RK Nagar, the Vaibhav-starrer which was ready for release in April this year but had to be delayed because of elections. RK Nagar is expected to hit screens on June 7.
Meanwhile, Chimbu, the director of Imsai Arasan 23m Pulikesi and Irumbukkottai Murattu Singam, last worked on the Vijay-starrer Puli in 2015. He later announced Imsai Arasan 24m Pulikesi, a sequel to Vadivelu’s 2006 film, but the project could not take off immediately. While announcing Kasada Tabara, the director said that 24-Pulikesi too will hopefully begin soon.
