Actress Lakshmi Rai will replace Catherine Tresa in actor Chiranjeevi’s next movie Khaidi No 150. The actress will appear in a special song in the film, choreographed by Lawrence Raghavendra.
Catherine Tresa was reportedly removed from the cast after a fallout with one of the film technicians, who is close to Chiranjeevi and his son Ram Charan.

Khaidi No 150, directed by V V Vinayak, is Chiranjeevi’s comeback film after a gap of 10 years. It will be his 150th film. The film stars Kajal Agarwal alongside Chiranjeevi, and has music by Devi Sri Prasad. It is also a remake of the Tamil film Kaththi which was directed by AR Murugadoss and starred Vijay.
Khaidi No 150 is being produced by Ram Charan in association with Lyca Productions.
The film is likely to be released in January 2017, to coincide with sankranthi.
