The Madras HC has adjourned actor Dhanush’s paternity case to April 11. The couple, Kathiresan and Meenakshi placed the request to adjourn the case after getting timely advice from a senior lawyer, reports said.

The couple claim that the VIP 2 actor ran away from home when he was young, and joined director Kasthuri Raja’s household as their domestic help. They allege that the family adopted him once he gained stardom through roles in Thulluvadho Ilamai, Kadhal Konden among others.

Dhanush has consistently denied all these claims and has accused the couple of extortion.
