Dhanush’s first directorial venture Power Paandi has been completed and now has a release date too. Dhanush announced it through his Twitter account :

Power Paandi was announced on the 7th of September and is said to be about ageing stuntmen. The shooting took place at a brisk pace and the production has been completed. Dhanush’s brother Selvaraghavan and wife Aishwarya Dhanush were all praise for the actor turned director.

In a latest development, TV anchor Dhivya Dharshini is said to be playing a cameo in the film.

Popularly known as DD, Dhivya Dharshini has acted in supporting roles in films like Nala Damayanthi, Whistle and Saroja.
Bankrolled by Dhanush’s home production Wunderbar Films, Power Paandi will have music by Sean Roldan. The film stars Rajkiran in the tiular role and also stars Prasanna, Chaya Singh, Madonna Sebastian and Nadiya in supporting roles. Dhanush and director Gautham Menon will be doing cameos in the film.
