Dhanush will team up with his Kodi director Durai Senthilkumar for a new film. A spokesperson for the actor has said that the project will not be launched anytime soon.
Earlier, the actor took to Twitter to make the announcement:
Yes .. after #blockbuster #kodi @durairsk is writing his next for me. Too early to disclose further details. Thank you 🙂

Interestingly, all of Durai Senthilkumar’s films have been produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films. For Durai, this new project is his fourth collaboration with Dhanush the producer, and the second with Dhanush the actor. It is also likely that Vetrimaaran’s Grassroots Entertainment will also finance the project, as they did with Kodi.
Dhanush is a part of several projects which are all in varying stages of development. He plays the lead in Gautham Menon’s Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta, a film with Karthik Subbaraj, the Hollywood film The Extraordinary Journey Of The Fakir, and Vetrimaaran’s Vada Chennai. Dhanush is also filming for the sequel to Velayilla Pattathari with Kajol. His directorial debut Power Paandi starring Raj Kiran is being wrapped up as well.
