Dileep’s Manager Finally Appears Before Police

Dileep, Arrest, Remand Notice, Evidence

Dileep’s manager Apunni,  who had absconded soon after the actor’s arrest, finally appeared for questioning at the Aluva Police club on Monday. The police had interrogated him once before the arrest; however, they wanted to re-question him post Dileep’s arrest to find out his involvement in the case. According to police, Apunni was hiding in a resort in  north Goa.

According to a report in Manorama Online, “The prime accused in the actress abduction case, Pulsar Suni, has made calls to certain numbers that are linked to Apunni’s contacts. These calls were said to be made between November 2016 and February 2017.”

The Special Investigation Team had sent Apunni a notice asking him to appear for questioning. Reportedly, Apunni was afraid of being  tortured during interrogation, and so went underground.

Actor Dileep was arrested by Kerala police on July 10 in connection with the actress abduction case. The police had submitted a remand report that said the actor had offered Rs 2 crore to prime accused Pulsar Suni to attack the actress and shoot a video of her. The actress was abducted and assaulted on February 17, 2017 in Kochi.
