Talking about Vikraman’s victory, director Gaurav Narayanan of Sigaram Thodu fame, who is a member of the directors’ association, told Silverscreen, “Vikraman sir and his team have been doing an excellent job all these years, and that’s the reason 1,500 out of 2,000 members voted for him. They have been helping with the higher education of children of associate directors and directors. The members are also given a medical card with which they can avail free medical treatment for up to five lakhs in a private hospital. They were very prompt in issuing the card to each and every member.”

He added, “Also, it is good to have senior members on board as they will be able to handle things with their experience. They are approachable and they help us sort out issues with our films.”
