Karan has always been under the scrutiny of Twitter trolls, who constantly question his sexuality, and the Ae Dil Hain Mushkil director’s tweets sure seem like an answer to all of them.
This is surprising, as the director recently admitted in an interview that he enjoys being trolled. “I enjoy it. I have reached a stage of social media nirvana. I am really all right with anyone who abuses,” he said.
Karan also said that “directors go through equal amounts of fears, anxieties and insecurities. You have to ‘baby’ directors much more than the actors. Somewhere, the actors are happy in their zone of vanity and that is the cocoon they can find solace in. Directors have all kinds of apprehensions”.
