Dulquer Salmaan’s Next Tamil Film To Begin In August

The month of August will be busy for Dulquer Salmaan. The actor’s Malayalam-Tamil bilingual with Bejoy Nambiar, Solo, will come out that month. He will also begin shooting for his next Tamil film then, directed by Desingh Periyasamy, according to a Deccan Chronicle.

Desingh had earlier made an award-winning short film called 99. According to a source, Dulquer “will complete some portions for Nadigaiyar Thilagam [Mahanati – the biopic on Savithri] and would soon start shooting for Desingh’s project from August. He was in complete awe of the script and agreed to do the film as it would catapult him to the next league. The official announcement of this flick will be out in July.”

Other cast and crew information will be announced shortly, but the Deccan Chronicle report confirms that Kuttram 23 cinematographer, KM Bhaskaran, will be a part of this film.

Silverscreen had earlier reported that Dulquer would work with Ra Karthik, on a Tamil-Malayalam, road-trip movie. Meanwhile, Solo, directed by Bejoy Nambiar, will release in August, according to a Times of India report.
