Fidaa, starring Varun Tej and Sai Pallavi, will release on July 21.

Produced by Dil Raju, and written and directed by Shekhar Kammula, Fidaa is billed as a feel-good romantic film. As Silverscreen reported earlier, Fidaa details the story of an NRI man in the USA, a woman in Telengana, and their relationship. Varun Tej and Sai Pallavi play leads, with music by Shakthi Kanth. A theatrical trailer was released recently. The film’s audio launch will take place on July 10, with the film hitting screens on the 21st.

Sai Pallavi is best known for her performance in the Malayalam film Premam, while Varun Tej worked on Mukunda, Kanche, and Mister.
Sai Pallavi is also working on Vijay’s Karu, – incidentally her Tamil debut. She was also cast in the Tamil remake of Charlie, with Madhavan playing Dulquer Salmaan’s role. However, Vijay has put Charlie on hold, to focus on Karu with Sai Pallavi.
