Actor Bharath, who was recently seen in the stoner comedy Simba, has released the first look poster of his upcoming Naduvan, directed by debutant Sharang.
Said to be a psychological thriller, the Naduvan poster features Bharath in a look unlike his previous films. With specs, he looks serious holding a mask which is fading away from his hand. The backdrop seems like a haunted place with virtual effects.

The film is said to be an intense thriller set in the backdrop of hill stations, which was reportedly challenging for the team. It has been shot around the hills of Kodaikanal. Sharang, who was seen in Gitanjali Selvaraghavan’s Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam, is debuting as a director with this film. Apart from Bharath, the film stars Aradhya, Gokul Anand of Chennai 2 Singapore fame, Aparna Vinod, and Aruvi fame Bala in important roles.
According to a report in The New Indian Express, Bharath will be seen as the father of Aradhya in the film. Music for the film is composed by Dharan Kumar, lyrics are by Madhan Karky, Dr Burn and Mirchi Vijay. Produced by Lucky Chhajer under the banner of Cue Entertainment, cinematography is by Yuva, and stunts by Vicky who has earlier worked on Uriyadi and Ratsasan.

Talking about the stunts performed by the actors, director Sharang said in a statement, “Almost everyone in the film had exerted their best into the stunt sequences. It wasn’t just limited to Bharat and Gokul, but even Aparna Vinod and the little girl Aradhaya have performed their own stunts. Realizing the depth of story and situation, where it demanded so much of reality, they came forward to perform it all by themselves amidst the adverse climatic condition of rain and mist, which posed as a huge challenge.”
“Actor Bharat had severely hurt his hand and was bleeding, while Aparna Vinod was brave enough to perform the stunts without dupes and did it in single take without getting injured. Gokul Anand was badly hit on his head during the stunt, but he managed to complete the shot without asking for a break,” he added.
On the work front, this year seems to be a promising one for Bharath who has Pottu, a horror film directed by Vadivudaiyan, Kaalidas directed by Sri Senthil, and 8 by Kaviraj. He will also be making his Kannada debut with the film Akhil.
