Shooting Of First Part Of Vetrimaaran’s ‘Vada Chennai’ Over, The Dhanush-Starrer To Release This Year

Director Vetrimaaran has finally finished shooting the first part of Vada Chennai. The film set in the 1980s North Madras, is being made into three parts, starring Dhanush in the lead. Samuthirakani, who has a crucial role in the film, shared a photo from the sets with co-stars and technicians working on the project.

Music composer of the project, too, announced his elation towards being associated with this film.

The film will focus on a gangster but will also delve into the lives of people living in a village in North Madras, covering over three decades of their lives. Apart from Dhanush and Samuthirakani, the film also stars Aishwarya Rajesh, Andrea Jeremiah, Ameer, Daniel Balaji, Kishore, Karunas, Subramaniam Siva, and Cheenu Mohan.
Produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films and Lyca Productions, Vada Chennai is expected to release later this year once the post production work is complete.
