Gouthami will star opposite Kamal Hassan in the Tamil remake of Drishyam. “She will be reprising the role done by Meena in the original. We initially thought of Nadiya, but then finally decided on Gouthami,” confirms director Jeethu Joseph. The film will be shot extensively in Tirunelveli. The Telugu remake has Venkatesh and Meena; and it was in fact Kamal Haasan who suggested Venkatesh for the film. The Kannada remake will star Ravichandran and Navya Nair.
