Govinda is miffed with the makers of Jagga Jasoos. The actor shot for the Anurag Basu film in South Africa. But, recently, reports said that his scenes in the film were deleted.

“I gave full respect to the Kapoor family and did the film because he is my senior’s son. I was told I will get the script. I was told they will narrate the film in South Africa. I didn’t charge a signing amount; made no contracts. I was unwell and on drips, but still travelled to South Africa for the shoot. There were various negative stories and articles against me and that’s how the film was remembered for three years. I did my job as an actor and if the director is not happy it’s completely his call (sic).”
Jagga Jasoos has Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif in lead roles.
