Hema Malini’s driver, Mahesh Thakur, who was arrested by Rajasthan police on Friday, claims that he is innocent. According to a TOI report, the driver argues that it was the Alto car’s driver, who turned the car without switching on the indicator.
The road accident happened near Jaipur on Thursday, when the Hema’s Mercedes collided with an Alto. A three-year-old child, who was travelling in the Alto, died in the accident, and Hema Malini and four others travelling in the Alto suffered serious injuries. The actress is currently receiving treatment for head injuries in a city hospital.
