STR’s Idhu Namma Aalu will release in December. In an official statement, the actor confirmed that the film is in the final stage of shoot. It will be a delight to the audience, STR said, adding that he is looking forward to the release of his other films, Vaalu and Vettai Mannan as well. Both movies, bankrolled by the same production house, are long overdue, and he attributed the delay to some “internal problems”.

However, Vaalu, that sees Hansika pairing opposite STR, will hit theatres in November.
Although the actor made a special appearance in Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya and Inga Enna Solludhu, his last outing as the hero was Podaa Podi. “My commitment to fans at this moment, is to come out with regular releases and that will happen from November,” he said.
Directed by Pandiraj, Idhu Namma Aalu features Nayanthara, Andrea, Santhanam and Soori. STR’s younger brother, Kuralarasan, debuts as a composer. T Rajendar and his wife produce the film.
