Director Pandiraj’s Idhu Namma Aalu, starring STR, Nayanthara and Andrea, will shoot its remaining songs next week. Speaking at the press meet, producer T Rajendar said, “One song featuring STR and Andrea will be shot by next week. Also, another song will be canned in a grand manner.” Earlier, the team had said that the ‘I’m waiting’ song featuring STR and Nayanthara hadn’t yet been shot. However, according to Pandiraj, Nayanthara had been unable to allocate dates to shoot the song. It is unclear whether Nayanthara will be replaced by Andrea for that song. The film is on course to release in March.
Idhu Namma Aalu, which has been lying in the cans for almost two years now, recently had its audio launch. The songs composed by STR’s brother Kuralarasan received mixed reviews from fans. Produced by Simbu Cine Arts, the audio rights of the film were bought by Lahari Music for Rs 1.5 crores. The film will be distributed by Sri Thenandal Films.
