The makers of actor Sivakarthikeyan starrer Hero have been looking at new ways to promote their film: from an Augmented Reality phone game to Facebook and Instagram filters for users. With a lot of hype building up for the film, the latest news is that Ilaiyaraaja will be singing a song for the film, with music composed by his son, Yuvan Shakar Raja with Pa Vijay penning the lyrics.
The film helmed by Irumbuthirai fame PS Mithran is being bankrolled by Kotapadi J Rajesh under his KJR Studios banner. The film touted to be an action-thriller will see Sivakarthikeyan playing the role of a superhero in the film.
KJR Studios took to Twitter to announce the news on Sunday.

Apart from the lead couple and Arjun Sarja, Naachiyaar fame Ivana, Robo Shankar and Abhay Deol play important roles. The Yuvan Shankar Raja musical has George C Williams handling cinematography, V Selvakumar helming art and Ruben on edit. Dialogues have been penned by Pon Parthipan, Antony Bhagyaraj, and Savari Muthu, action by Dhilip Subbararayan with Raju Sundaram and Sathish choreographing dance.
Hero has been certified ‘U’ with a run-time of 164 minutes and is set to release this Friday on December 20, 2019.
