Actress Iniya has a fiery new role in director Ameer Sultan’s Santhanathevan.

Ameer told Silverscreen, “Iniya has an important role in the film. She is a performer, and I needed someone with her acting skills and experience to pull off this role. It will be similar to her role in Vaagai Sooda Vaa, and will be very fiery.”
Ameer Sultan will also have a major role in the project. Iniya will play his wife.
Santhanathevan is based on Jallikattu and will see Arya and his brother, Satya in lead roles. Aditi Menon has already been roped in to play one of the female leads.
Iniya’s last onscreen appearance was in the widely reviled Thiraikku Varaadha Kadhai.
